Sleep is essential for overall well-being. There’s a reason older generations often say, "Sleep early, wake up early." Humans, like many other creatures, are designed to thrive in the presence of sunlight. Set an alarm to go to bed, not just to wake up. A good sleep environment plays a crucial role as well. You should use blackout curtains to block out light and ensure your bedroom temperature is between 18°C and 21°C. Establish a consistent bedtime routine and aim to go to bed before 11 PM. Prioritizing sleep will enhance your health, mood and productivity.
The world needs more kindness, love and empathy. On social media, people often build their character based on hate. But is life truly worth living that way? Let's hear Marcus Aurelius's thoughts: "When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself: The people I deal with today will be meddling, ungrateful, arrogant, dishonest, jealous, and surly. They are like this because they can't tell good from evil. But I have seen the beauty of good and the ugliness of evil, and have recognized that the wrongdoer shares a nature with my own – not the same blood or birth, but the same mind, and a share of the divine. And so, none of them can hurt me. No one can implicate me in ugliness. Nor can I feel anger at my relative, or hate him. We were born to work together, like feet, hands, eyes, and teeth. To obstruct each other is unnatural. To feel anger or turn your back on someone: these are unnatural."
What is the meaning of life? How about creating it for yourself? Whatever obstacles lie ahead, don’t give up. Keep working hard. It will pay off in the end. As Carl Jung said: "No matter how isolated you are, and how lonely you feel, if you do your work truly and conscientiously, unknown friends will come and seek you."
We are living on an amazing planet: Earth. When was the last time you sat and watched the stars? Light pollution is real, but so are the excuses. Take a moment to connect with the ground, appreciate the beauty of the universe and free your mind. "The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely, or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature, and God." – Anne Frank
Let’s talk about finances. Many people spend more than they earn, go into debt with credit cards and face the consequences. Start saving more, invest wisely and do your own research. You can not listen to those "this coin will go 300x twitter experts" and blame them. You are the one to blame yourself. You can learn regression, other machine learning algorithms and financially save more money. We are living in big 2025. Gambling is a long-term losing strategy, proven mathematically. Every time, cumulatively you should lose money. Think about it: if you open a casino or a gambling website, what’s your first thought? How can I ensure the house always wins? You choose the games, you can simulate with monte carlo algorithms (if it is complex) or simply prove it with pen and paper. Also, spending more than you need is never worth it. People become happy while they are shopping. People often buy things they don't need and end up using them once or twice before forgetting about them. Ask yourself, what are those things? You can look around, move your head. Yeah you did this thing, we all do. The important thing is minimizing it. When you go to shopping, ask yourself, is this really necessary for me? Then things will drastically improve. Embrace minimalism. Save for potential tough times. Don't say "but we only live once". It is a trap sentence.
Continuous learning. In today’s world, knowledge is more valuable than ever. Whether it’s picking up a new skill, reading a book or learning from others, personal growth never stops. As Albert Einstein said: "Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death." Make it a habit to learn something new every day. The world is full of opportunities for growth, take advantage of them. And remember, failure isn’t the end; it’s often just a stepping stone to success. Don't be afraid to fail, because in the process, you’ll learn more than you ever imagined. Change comes with small steps, don't be a perfectionist and an overthinker, start acting.
Look after your mental health. We’re all caught up in so many things, but it is easy to forget how important it is to just pause and check in with yourself. Sometimes, it’s as simple as taking a few minutes to breathe, going for a walk, or even chatting with a friend when things are on your mind. Mental health is more than avoiding stress, it’s about feeling good and staying connected to yourself. Don’t be afraid to admit when you need a break or when things are tough. No one has everything figured out, and that’s totally fine. You are doing your best, and that is enough. Take care of your mind the same way you’d take care of anything else you value.
Quit bad addictions, create a healthier life. Whether it’s smoking, drinking or any other harmful habit, breaking free from these addictions is one of the best investments you can make in yourself. The regret that follows is real and it often hits hardest when you realize the time, energy and health you've lost. But it’s never too late to turn things around. Think about your future self and the version of you that’s living a life free from those chains. The energy you gain, the mental clarity and the sense of achievement will be worth more than any short-term satisfaction those addictions offer. It’s not easy but nothing worthwhile ever is. Replace that momentary pleasure with habits that build your future, like exercising, spending time with loved ones and pursuing passions that nourish your soul. You have the power to break free to become the best version of yourself.
